Add A Little Sparkle To Your Valentine’s Day With Anna de Codornίu #AnnaSparkling

11 Feb

My husband and I have always preferred staying in on Valentine’s Day enjoying a glass of wine, watching a movie and making a nice dinner or ordering take-out.  We gave cards and exchanged small gifts. Not much changed on Valentine’s Day when we had our girls, except the movie choice has become a Disney or family movie to watch with the little LOVES of our life.  Mommy still enjoy a glass of wine on the couch!  This year my glass will be filled with Anna de Codornίu Sparkling Wine!

My first  taste of Anna de Codornίu was at the Momtrends Holiday Event!  Every sip I took was, crisp, refreshing, and delicious!  At the event, I won a gift basket and received a sample!  Over the holidays, I shared Anna de Codornίu with friends and family at various gatherings and celebrations! Everyone I have shared it with has expressed equal enjoyment and asked where they could find it!

How to add a little sparkle to your Valentine’s Day:  If you’re making a special dinner this Valentine’s Day, the Cava Brut pairs well with shellfish and whitefish!  It’s also a suitable accompaniment to sushi and sashimi! The Rose Brut is ideal for apéritifs or sipping with friends!  After the kids go to sleep, have a toast to celebrate all the love in your life!

Anna de Codornίu launched a new look for the new year! The gorgeous new labels make Anna de Codornίu a perfect gift, not only for your loved one on Valentine’s Day, but for engagements, new moms, house-warming, or a host/ hostess gift.  They are also perfect to display and serve at bridal showers and baby showers! The bottles are beautiful on their own but if you want to add a personal touch for someone special, the new labels work well for decorating and writing a sentiment (try using colorful sharpies)!  An empty bottle would be perfect to up-cycle and use as a vase in a dining room or bar area!

Toasting with Anna is an effortless way for friends to add charm and excitement to life events, from girls’ night out to movie night, casual brunch, or an elegant soirée. Anna Brut and Brut Rosé retail for $14.99 and are exclusively distributed by Aveníu Brands based in Baltimore, Maryland. Find out more at facebook.com/AnnadeCodorniu.US!

One of our favorite outings is to Color Me Mine.  My girls love picking their pottery and using as many colors as they can to paint it.  Our favorite to go is around Halloween.  The girls love going to the themed workshops.

This month the Tribeca Location will have these “Spooky Workshops”:

While I was looking up the events to sign-up for this Halloween, I discovered they also have PJ Party themed sessions on certain Fridays during the month.  If you paint in your PJ’s you will receive 50% off the studio fee!  Color me mine also allows you to bring your own food and drinks! In addition to Halloween, Color Me Mine also has other Holiday events.  The pottery makes a great gift for parents, grandparents, and friends.  A trip to Color Me Mine would make a great uKloo surprise too!  Find a Studio and Schedule of Events near you to get painting!

Out Creating Designs: Sugar Scrub and More

31 Jan

My super creative and talented cousin recently started blogging.  Her blog, Out Creating Designs, focuses on ideas for design from refinishing furniture she finds at local antique stores to creating signs for the home all while being a mom to five kids. She recently moved to Raleigh, N.C. and has a space at Suzanna’s Antiques to sell her pieces.  She has made so many wonderful things for my girls and is always giving new ideas to include on my blog.

An adorable sign she made for my baby shower and Maddie's room.

The other day she told me about edible hand and foot sugar scrubs she has made with her kids.   She has made scrubs in Vanilla, Lemon and is working on a Brown Sugar Chocolate scrub. They would make a perfect gift for a Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.  I am going to make some with the girls to give with the ring holders for wedding gifts for my friends.  Keep checking her blog for the perfect sugar scrub recipe.   I can’t wait to make them.

Sneak peak from Out Creating Designs, check out her site for more amazing pieces for the home:

Her talent goes beyond the home and furnishings, check out the amazing Tutu’s and shirts she has made for the girls:
