The heat has been unbearable this summer, especially the past week. The girls want to go to the park almost every day so we often come back hot and sweaty. It’s hard to feel refreshed with out taking a shower. Not long ago, I attended an event at the Caudalie store in the West Village and I purchased the Vinosource Hydration Set ($48). The set includes:

Gift sets are great because you can get a little of everything to figure out what you like. I LOVE the Caudalie Grape Water spray. My girls and I give each other a nice spray to help us feel refreshed after being in the sun. I also spray myself after a long run or when I wake up in the morning.
About the Caudalie Event:
Founder Mathilde Thomas was at the event to meet guests and talk about how the Caudalie beauty line began. Caudalie was founded in 1993 by Mathilde Thomas and her husband, Bertrand, during the harvest on her family’s vineyard, Château Smith Haut Lafitte, in France. She had a vision to create a natural beauty product based on what you eat and drink. Caudalie means the unit measuring the duration of the wine’s flavor on the palette. All the products are derived from the polyphenols extracted from the grape-seeds, the most powerful antioxidants grown. She often gets asked if it’s hard-working with her husband but she said it wasn’t, one creates while the other one sells the products.
In addition to learning about the product line, guests received either a facial or a tanning tint using. I chose the facial. It was amazing. The products have a beautiful scent and texture. It also made me realize that I need to take better care of my skin. It was a lovely evening and a pleasure to meet Mathilde Thomas.
